Biography 

Dr. Ann Johnson joined the faculty at 澳门开奖结果 in the Fall of 2019. Dr. Johnson earned her Ph.D. in sociology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, with a graduate certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her dissertation focusing on gender dynamics at CrossFit is titled: 鈥淧rescribing Difference: Masculinity and Femininity at CrossFit.鈥� Dr. Johnson received her M.S. in sociology from Illinois State University and her B.A. from Eastern Illinois University, majoring in sociology and minoring in Spanish.

Student Organizations

Dr. Johnson is the faculty co-advisor for Murray State's Students of Sociology Club. The Students of Sociology club is a registered student organization providing service opportunities for students, through fundraising and service work, learning experiences that will be educationally illuminating and is an organization for students who are interested in sociology. The club is open to not only sociology majors or minors but to any MSU student interested in sociology.
