Biography
I'm a Murray state alum and a lifelong Graves County resident. My experience and background is in mental health issues, all forms of trauma, domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, foster care, addictions treatment, marital and family therapy and sexual orientation and gender. I am a licensed clinical therapist in the state of Kentucky. I have taught at Murray State since 1999. Prior to this I held several positions. I worked as a clinician in a community mental health center, did clinical work in a partial hospitalization and outpatient program, and was a counselor at a domestic violence shelter. I was also a counselor and community liaison for a residential facility providing care to the chronically mentally ill, developmentally delayed and elderly. I was actively involved in the foster care system and was a foster parent for a number of years.
