Navigating communication disorders can be an exciting and rewarding challenge. The communication disorders program at Murray State will help you help others who struggle with speaking and hearing. We鈥檒l provide you with a broad background in general education and human behavior studies, plus all the courses you need to pursue graduate studies in speech-language pathology or audiology. You鈥檒l also get to participate in speech/language evaluation or therapy observation, followed by elementary clinical training in the first semester of your senior year, where you鈥檒l be mentored by graduate-level clinician trainees. It鈥檚 a unique experience that will help you follow your dreams and excel in your career.

When you join the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, you鈥檒l get the chance to participate in a variety of service activities that allow you to learn more about communication disorders and audiology. You'll also develop relationships with your peers and program faculty that will enrich your college experience.
