The Department of Art & Design provides instruction in support of the MA in Teacher Leader: Advanced Pedagogy Concentration for art educators. This 30 credit hour program is designed to prepare individuals to work in leadership positions in P-12 school settings. Upon completion of coursework, candidates will be eligible for rank change in Kentucky.
Students will complete 12 hours of Teacher Leader Core courses (TLE 600, 620, 630, 640) and 18 hours in their desired concentration area. The concentration area is designed to build on the core courses, and to advance candidate content and pedagogical knowledge. 6 hours of the concentration area may be taken within the Department of Art & Design.
