About the Camps

WeDo and WeDo 2.0
(recommended for upcoming 1st-5th graders)

WeDo (1st-3rd graders)

LEGO WeDo robotics monkeyThe LEGO® WeDo robotics system is designed for younger school-aged campers who are able to listen well. Building robots using LEGO pieces along with specialized items such as motors, sensors, gears,and pulleys allows campers to then program their creations through the LEGO WeDo software.

WeDo 2.0 (2nd-5th graders)

Lego WeDo 2.0 RobotThis camp builds on the WeDo camp and is designed for campers who have attended the WeDo Camp. Campers use skills from the earlier camp to construct much more complex models and programs.

LEGO Mindstorms Robotics
(recommended for upcoming 5th-9th graders)

LEGO® Robo Extreme Challenge

Lego Mindstorm EV3 RobotThis LEGO® Robo Extreme Challenge camp uses EV3 Robots to explore through challenges. Campers will use their skills to design robots that accomplish specific tasks. This camp is designed for campers who have previous experience with robotics as well as those who are new to robots! 

Minecraft
(recommended for upcoming 2nd-9th graders)

Minecraft: Education Edition (2nd-5th graders)

Minecraft SteveMinecraft will be used in an educational setting to reinforce math, science, and social studies skills. Working as teams to complete various tasks, campers will learn the mechanics of Minecraft: Education Edition, forage for food, gather materials, and explore design concepts in a virtual community where the group survives against all Minecraft nature has to offer.

Minecraft Code Builder (6th-9th graders)

Minecraft AgentCodeBuilder for Minecraft gives students a fun platform to explore, create, and play in a Minecraft world. Players not only develop computational thinking, they can craft amazing creations within the world by implementing their own coding!

STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math
(recommended for upcoming 4th-6th graders)

STEM Club

STEM - Science Technology Engineering MathThis camp is a great place to explore, fail, and persevere, while gaining confidence learning about robots, coding, and partaking in hands-on STEM learning activities.

STEM Club for Girls

STEM for GirlsThis camp gives girls the opportunity to explore robots and coding, while giving them an opportunity to take part in activities that offer hands-on, real world experience!

Sphero (recommended for upcoming 4th-7th graders)

Do you know Sphero?

STEM Sphero Problem-solve while you are learning about robotics with Sphero! Navigate obstacles, create basic games, and have fun, all while learning visual coding to program a robot to complete fun tasks!
