Institutional Accreditation
°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist and doctorate degrees. °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Questions about the accreditation of °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û may be directed in writing to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, by calling 404.679.4500, or by using information available on . Degree Granting Authority
°ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û is officially recognized as a state university in the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Revised Statutes (KRS) 164.290. By the authority vested in the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) by the Commonwealth of Kentucky (KRS 164.295), °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û has the authority to grant the following degrees within the Commonwealth:
