Step 1: Search for the Best Program for You
You can search by your major or field of study, location, term, length of program, provider, or language.
Step 2: Bring Your Questions to Open Advising
Join us any Monday at 3 p.m. or Thursday at 11 a.m. in Blackburn 135 for any question you have about the application, funding, or anything else you're curious about.
Step 3: Meet with an Advisor
After you've attended an Open Advising session, we're happy to help answer any additional questions you may have about the program or programs you're considering. That's what we do - provide more detail and help you narrow down your options as well as talk with you about funding if you can't attend a Scholarship Workshop.
We accept walk-ins but sometimes we're busy and can't see you right away. The best way to ensure we're available is to schedule an appointment. It's easy: Click on Education Abroad Advising on the left sidebar of this page to find the advisor for your program and/or college and send them an email!
We're located in suite 131 Blackburn, in the North Wing.

Step 5: After You're Accepted
You're not alone in this process. Before you go, you will attend a study abroad orientation to learn more specific details about your program, how Murray State will respond in an emergency, how to remain safe and healthy while abroad, and how to maximize your learning inside and outside the classroom. Family members are invited to attend orientation with you. For your orientation date, see our Dates and Deadlines page and click on the term of your study abroad program.
