Racer SoleMates Jane, '60, '66, and Roy, '63, '69, Howard met while students at Murray State. Jane shares, 鈥淲hen my husband, Roy, and I fell in love, he carved our initials on the tree outside Woods Hall, and others followed until finally the tree fell down. There was no shoe tradition at that time but we will always treasure the memory of our tree. 鈥�
